The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge in partnership with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is providing voter education, registration, turnout, and advocacy tools and resources to support the engagement of college athletics in the democratic process. Go to the ALL IN, NABC, and WBCA Coaches’ Task Force website to find local and national partners that can help support planning and implementation of democratic engagement on your campus and, in some cases, provide additional resources. The Students Learn Students Vote (SLSV) coalition has also put together this list of resources.
Core team of coaches who work alongside ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge and serve as a resource for fellow coaches. Will require an hour of training in July and will begin supporting coaches in your state/region in August.
The Coaches’ Voter Registration and Engagement Pledge for the 2024 Presidential Election is to support nonpartisan voter engagement efforts with your student-athletes who are eligible to vote. Coaches who sign this pledge will receive the playbook and resources, regional Task Force contact information and guidance on connecting with the civic engagement office on your campus.
In August 2020, the Coaches’ Voter Engagement Task Force released the first Coaches’ Voter Engagement Playbook to support the engagement of student athletes in the democratic engagement process. This tool has evolved to support the needs of athletic coaches for the 2022 election season.
The 2022 Coaches Playbook was released in February 2022.
