Campus Couch Parties

The ALL IN Challenge and Vote for Astra are sharing a peer-to-peer text banking strategy for virtual or in-person voter engagement. Volunteers will text contacts in their phones with pre-written scripts, prewritten answers, and links to register to vote, request an absentee ballot, pledge to vote, and make a plan to vote.

What Is A Couch Party?

Couch Parties are a great way to reinvent the registration drive and engage students, friends, and classmates online or in person. this fall. Couch Parties can be in-person or virtual. Volunteers will be able to text folks by copying pre-written scripts in a shared Google Doc that your team creates to help people register to vote, request an absentee ballot, plan to vote early, and learn about candidates and issues on their ballot.
