Awards Nominations

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge seeks nominations for awards recognizing outstanding contributions to improving nonpartisan college student democratic engagement. Awards will be presented during the 2021 ALL IN Awards Ceremonies taking place virtually as follows:

 

Main ALL IN Ceremony: Monday, November 8, from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET

State Awards Ceremony: Tuesday, November 9, from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET

Athletic Challenge Award Ceremony: Wednesday, November 10, from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET

Awards Categories

We invite you to submit nominations for our Individual Champion Awards using the form below:

  • Standout Student
  • Standout Administrator
  • Standout Faculty Member
  • Standout President/Chancellor
  • Standout Collegiate Athletic Coach
  • Standout Partner Organization
  • Standout Local Election Official

 

Awards Criteria

Individual Champion Awards are presented in recognition of exemplary leadership in helping advance undergraduate student democratic engagement, including nonpartisan civic learning, political engagement, and voter participation, while advancing the work of the ALL IN Challenge on a campus or set of campuses. Award winners will have:

  • Demonstrated an exceptional commitment to fostering democratic engagement and increasing college student voter rates;
  • Contributed to making democratic participation a core institutional value;
  • Provided leadership and worked collaboratively across campus and with the community beyond one’s program or department on campus;
  • Developed and implemented innovative strategies and programming, inside and/or outside the classroom; and
  • Worked to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in democratic engagement efforts.

 

Rules & FAQs 

  • Nominators are welcome to submit multiple nominations. 
  • Nominees can nominate themselves. 
  • Nominees must have an affiliation with a participating ALL IN campus or nonpartisan, nonprofit partner organization that works with the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge and its campuses.

  • Nominations will be reviewed and selected by external review committees in collaboration with the ALL IN Challenge team.

DEADLINE: Nominations will be accepted until Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
