AMERICA EAST VOTES CHALLENGE
Continuing its commitment to captaining social justice, America East and its 10 member institutions are kicking off the America East Votes Challenge in partnership with the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge. The announcement comes on the heels of three successful America East Civic Engagement Conversations, which educated and engaged student-athletes on voter education resources and issues.
The 2022 America East Votes Award Winners are:
- Highest Voting Rate: University of Maine
- Highest Voter Registration Rate: University of Maryland, Baltimore County
The 2020 America East Votes Award Winners are:
- Highest Voter Registration Award: Binghamton University
- Most Improved Voter Turnout Award: University at Albany
- Highest Voter Turnout Award: University of Maine
- Best Action Plan: Stony Brook University
