In order to increase democratic engagement on college and university campuses, planning needs to be intentional and activities must be documented. One promising way in which this can be accomplished is through action planning. Action planning is a process that helps campus administrators, faculty, students, and community members focus ideas and decide what steps need to be taken to achieve institutional goals related to democratic engagement.
