CALL FOR ALL IN AWARDS NOMINATIONS

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge seeks nominations for our biennial ALL IN awards recognizing key stakeholders for outstanding contributions to improving nonpartisan college student democratic engagement. Nominations will be reviewed and selected by external review committees in collaboration with the ALL IN team. Awards will be presented during the 2023 ALL IN Awards Celebration taking place virtually on Tuesday, November 14 at 2 PM ET.

Awards Categories

We invite you to submit nominations for ALL IN’s Champion Awards for Standout Support for Nonpartisan College Student Voting in the following categories:

  • Campus Administrator
  • Faculty Member
  • President/Chancellor
  • Collegiate Athletic Coach
  • Local Nonpartisan Partner Organization
  • Local Election Official
  • Campus Nonpartisan Student Voting Group or Effort

 

Awards Criteria

Champion Awards are presented in recognition of exemplary leadership in helping advance undergraduate student democratic engagement, including nonpartisan civic learning, political engagement, and voter participation, while advancing the work of ALL IN on a campus or set of campuses. Award winners will have:

  • demonstrated an exceptional commitment to fostering nonpartisan democratic engagement and increasing college student voter rates;
  • contributed to making democratic engagement a core institutional value;
  • provided leadership and worked collaboratively across campus and with the community beyond one’s program or department on campus;
  • developed and implemented innovative strategies and programming, inside and/or outside the classroom; and
  • worked to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in nonpartisan democratic engagement efforts.

 Awards Nominations Questions

To support individuals with submitting a nomination, here are the question prompts for each Award category:

  • How has the nominee championed nonpartisan democratic engagement and ALL IN on campus or across a set of campuses? 
  • Why do you believe that the nominee deserves to be recognized?
  • How has the nominee advanced diversity, equity and inclusion in their nonpartisan democratic engagement efforts? 
  • How has the nominee demonstrated exemplary leadership and contributed to improving nonpartisan civic learning, political engagement, and student voter participation on campus or across a set of campuses?

Rules

  • Nominators are welcome to submit multiple nominations. 
  • Nominees can nominate themselves. 
  • Nominees must have an affiliation with a participating ALL IN campus or nonpartisan, nonprofit partner organization that works with the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge.
